Message	oil pick up tube. If the strainer was touching the pan then there would be something wrong with the pan or tube itself and one or the other should be replaced if not both. The oil pick up should not have been cut at all. You may not have a problem now and your "lifter tick" issue maybe a seperate issue. Now take the Z to a track event, or do any hi speed cornering and I would be slightly concerned.
